A Weddings By Event Kings Wedding
One of our favorite things when we meeting a new bride is hearing her vision they have in their head and then asking us “Is this possible?” That is what we encountered with one of our latest brides who dreamed of having a camping themed wedding. The bride and groom’s favorite past time consists of all types of outdoor activities, and it was important to them to express that through their wedding. Both ceremony and reception were held at a beautiful East Hampton campground that the couple had camped out at in the past. The ceremony space was hidden in the depths of the woods in a clear open space overlooking Gardiners Bay. Guests walked up a scenic path and were met with a rustic pavilion that held the reception. Long picnic tables with burlap runners, small tree stumps and bud vases added to the camping feel. Glowing bistro lighting were strung from the pavilion, creating the feeling that everyone was dancing under the stars. Guests were entertained with ping pong tables, corn hold and giant jenga as the night went on. As the sun set, a custom made s’mores table was brought out as a to take a to-go treat as they all headed over to the bride and groom’s campsite to enjoy an end of the night bonfire.
